Dan Smith was born and raised in Holy Toledo, OH, then he went to Kentucky Christian University on a full-ride scholarship for men's tetherball. In 2006, Smitty is started a new, super-cool church in Cleveland, OH called Momentum Christian Church. Dan is a storyteller-preacher who has a Masters of Arts in Storytelling from ETSU. (Yes, it's a real degree.) When he's not telling his wife, Shannon, how "incredibly hot" she is, he is scratching records under the DJ alias "Southpaw," praying for George Lucas to film a third Star Wars trilogy, and lip-syncing to Milli Vanilli songs. Much taller than a hobbit, Dan Smith is a storyteller-preacher and comedy writer who recently helped start a new church in Cleveland, OH called Momentum Christian Church. His comedy has been seen on VH-1, CNN, Yahoo!, Glenn Beck, and other less-cool shows. Dan is most known for being the dude who "likes big Bibles" (Google "Baby Got Book"). Armed with a witty sense of humor, Smitty's shares his passion for God to all ages and sometimes uses cool words like "plethora." Dan has a unique perspective on faith because he didn't grow up in a religious home. He came to his conclusions about Jesus when he was a 15-year-old hellion in Toledo, Ohio. Dan "Southpaw" Smith was born and raised in the Glass City, Toledo, Ohio. Now he DJs parties all over God's green Earth for freaks who are itching to dance. It is widely rumored that Dan is the one who let the dogs out. Southpaw mixes and scratches vinyl records (CDs are for wimps) while people shake their butts to a wide variety of clean dance music.
